Policies
Submission Guidelines
- Preferred formats: PDF for manuscripts. CSV or Parquet for datasets. MP4 or WAV for media excerpts with captions.
- Length: Working papers up to 12,000 words. Abstract 150–300 words. Include 3–8 keywords.
- Citations: APA or Chicago style.
- Ethics and cultural data: If material involves living communities or sacred knowledge, describe consent and stewardship. Mark sensitivity level and check the Consent box if applicable.
- File naming: lastname-year-shorttitle.pdf (e.g., moton-2025-cultural-os.pdf)
- Optional: Include a link to code or replication materials.
